ALL EVENTS will take place from stakeboats over a 1,000 metres downstream two-lane buoyed course and will be decided by knock-out competitions. |
EVENTS 12, 13, 19, 37: Veterans are invited to enter and classifications will depend on type and number of entries received. |
EVENT 14: Is for non-status fours; entry is restricted to clubs from ARA Divisions 13, 14 and 15 ONLY. |
EVENTS 38 to 50: Entrants for these events may not double up. Entries in J13, and younger, events will only be accepted from ARA registered competitors; Day Tickets may not be used. |
PRIZES: Engraved PINT TANKARDS for all events. |
DRAW: Will take place on Sunday, 29th May 2005, at 12 noon. |
ENTRY FEES: Eights (8o, 8x) £60, Fours (4+, 4-, 4x+, 4x-) £40, Pairs (2-, 2x) £20, Singles (1x) £10. |
ENTRIES: May be made on-line (through OARA), or by post. On-line will be available until 8 p.m. on Saturday 28th May 2005, payment must be made either by cheque to the Entries Secretary or via electronic banking to the regatta account at: sort code . Postal entries must be on standard ARA forms, and either posted to:: ENTRIES SECRETARY, WALTON AMATEUR REGATTA, 13A, WOODSIDE, LONDON SW19 7AR, or delivered by hand to WALTON ROWING CLUB, by 10.00 p.m. on Saturday 28th MAY 2005. Entries must be accompanied by a cheque payable to 'WALTON AMATEUR REGATTA' and include £15 for each Day Licence required. In the case of insufficient entries for an event, the Committee reserve the right to offer to transfer the entry to the next higher status. Please state on the Entry Form the name and telephone number of a person who may make a decision on the day of the Draw. This is essential for Veteran Events. |

DOUBLING-UP: is permitted except in events 38 to 50 incl. HOWEVER PLEASE NOTE CAREFULLY: The order of event numbers in all heats and finals will be as follows : 8, 50, 36, 40, 25, 18, 49, 35, 41, 23, 11, 37, 48, 34, 29, 7, 42, 22, 3, 12, 47, 27, 21, 5, 43, 24, 4, 19, 30, 26, 6, 17, 44, 20, 9, 14, 33, 16, 31, 2, 45, 28, 38, 13, 46, 15, 10, 1, 32, 39 and THIS ORDER WILL NOT BE CHANGED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. Heats will be at 3 or 4 minute intervals, with finals at 5 minute intervals and it is the responsibility of entrants to ensure that they will have sufficient time between races. Races will start without reference to absentees. Notification of doublings is no longer required. |

The Regatta offers a wide range of events, but is limited as to the number of races it can accommodate. The Committee reserve the right to refuse entries which are incomplete or not accompanied by full payment, and to cancel any event which receives less than three entries. |
